The land has two old ruins on it that were totally overgrown. So we cleared them up which allowed us to measure them and see in what condition they are. It's not good so we will start to renovate and rebuild them in Season 2.
The goal of season 1 was to set up a Basekamp. We used 2 shipping containers to achieve this. With each container allowing us to house some basic infrastructure such as water, electricity, kitchen shower etc. Now that we have this we will be able to host more people in the future.
Whilst working on the land we got in touch with our lovely neighbors. All over 60 year old Portuguese people driving around on tractors harvesting their vegetables. They are curious to what this will become and have been a great help so far!
